    MI Abaga, Nigerian rapper has apologized to Nigerians over his comment defending South African rapper, Aka.

    The rapper says he hopes that Nigerians will begin to listen to each other and discuss ways to bringing about lasting solutions to the problems.

    MI Abaga says though a part of him wanted to turn to anger having been insulted and bashed for his comments, he realised it is not the right way to go.

    Speaking via his twitter handle on Thursday, the rapper said: “To everyone I offended yesterday I apologise.

    “It is always the right time for healing.

    “I hope we can begin to listen to each other and discuss real lasting solutions. I know I will.

    “I have been insulted and threatened so much.

    “And though a part of me wanted to turn to anger. I know that it was a test for me to lead with love.

    “We have to see past our hurt into our hearts.. and fight hatred with love.”

  • #Xenophobia: Falz Condemns Attacks On Mtn, Shoprite, Others By Nigerians


    Folarin Falana, aka Falz have condemned in strong terms the on South African businesses by Nigerians in retaliation to xenophobic attacks.

    Angry Nigerian protesters took over the streets of Lagos, Nigeria to call for justice for their brothers and sisters in South Africa and in this motive, they attacked South African businesses.

    Falz called on Nigerians to stop attacks of South African business located in Nigeria.

    The singer also called on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to provide solution to xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa.

    Falz said this while reacting to a statement by Osinbajo on his Twitter page condemning the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa.

    Osinbajo had on Tuesday condemned the xenophobic attacks describing it as unfortunate.

    But, Falz responding to his comment on Twitter, asked Osinbajo to reveal actions being taken by the Nigerian government.

    He wrote: “We all know what it is, What is being done about it?

    The rapper further called on Nigerians to stop violent attacks on businesses in Nigeria.

    According to him, violence will not solve the problem but rather heightens it.

    “This a very difficult time for everyone but violence is never the answer.

    “Attacking people or vandalizing businesses in Nigeria will not solve the problem, but will rather make things worse.

    “We are hurting our own selves! Please,” Falz added.

    On Tuesday evening, Zlatan Ibile, published a statement addressing the xenophobic violence against Nigerians in South Africa.

    Reacting to the development on his Twitter handle, Zlatan said:


    “Deep down my heart, I feel sad on the situation of things and happenings. Violence is never a solution but rather chaos . My people let’s pray and hope people in power handle the situation on ground �”

    Following the release of the statement, the singer came under fire for having a couple of errors in the grammar.

    Some Nigerians instead of overlooking and or correct his blunder have chosen to take a swipe at the rapper.
