Early Life and Education
Ruby Sweetheart Maguire was born on November 10, 2006, in Los Angeles, California, and is 20 years old.
She is the first child of actor Tobey Maguire and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer. Her younger brother, Otis Tobias Maguire, was born in 2009. Ruby’s middle name, Sweetheart, reportedly comes from a nickname her maternal great-grandmother used for Jennifer Meyer.
Ruby grew up in Los Angeles while her father was one of Hollywood’s most recognisable actors, especially for his role as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man film series.
Her maternal grandfather, Ronald Meyer, was also a major entertainment executive, giving her a close family connection to the film and entertainment business.
Her parents separated in 2016 after nine years of marriage and later proceeded with divorce proceedings. Despite the separation, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer continued to co-parent Ruby and her younger brother.
Personal Life
Ruby Maguire is unmarried and has no children. She has largely kept her personal and romantic life out of the public eye, and no reliable information confirms a current partner or engagement.
Her parents have also generally kept their children’s private lives away from the spotlight despite their own long careers in entertainment. Ruby remains close to her family, particularly her father and younger brother.
She has occasionally accompanied Tobey Maguire to major public events, including the 2022 Los Angeles premiere of Babylon, where she made one of her most notable appearances alongside him.
Career
Ruby Maguire became known to the public primarily through her family rather than through an established entertainment career of her own.
As the daughter of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, she received media attention from childhood and occasionally appeared alongside her parents at public events.
Her most notable public appearance came in December 2022, when she attended the Los Angeles premiere of Babylon with her father.
The appearance attracted considerable attention because it marked one of the first major occasions when Tobey Maguire publicly appeared with his daughter as she approached adulthood.
Ruby has not established a professional career in acting, modelling, or music. Instead, she has maintained a relatively private lifestyle while pursuing her education and developing interests outside her parents’ entertainment careers.
Net Worth
Ruby Maguire has an estimated net worth of $30,000.
Unlike her father, whose wealth has been accumulated through his long Hollywood career and film production work, Ruby has not publicly established an independent professional career that would allow her personal earnings to be reliably assessed.
