  • Reekado Banks Falls Victim Again, Gets Pranked By IllBliss & Simi Drey


    Nigerian veteran rapper, IllBliss, and Beat Fm OAP, Simi Drey pranked Reekado Banks and his response is quite hilarious.

    Simi Drey and IllBliss called Reekado Banks and pretended to be officers of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). They asked the “Rora” singer if he got the letters of his outstanding tax payments and insisted that they sent the letters to his record label but had to put a call across after getting no response.

    IllBliss informed the singer that his outstanding tax payment is over N12 million and he didn’t sound baffled upon hearing the amount he “owes”. Reekado banks asked them which record label the letters were sent to and explained that his former record label handles his tax payments. IllBliss who probably couldn’t hold his laughter revealed that it was a prank and that he was being recorded on a Live show.

  • Reekado Banks Speaks On Sacking His Brother As His Manager


    Singer, Reekado Banks has revealed that his brother, Temi Solomon, who was his manager , was not professionally fit enough to handle his new vision and that’s why he got sacked.

    Temi has been Reekado’s manager from the begining of his career, but the singer has dropped him now saying his vision has grown and he needs people who ”see as far as he sees.”

    In a recent interview with Cool FM, Reekado explained that, ‘It was just next level dealings, I wanted to get somewhere else, the vision became alot farther, like I saw farther than I used to see and I just needed somebody that’ll see as much, most especially someone that’s been there with other people (artists) but me and my brother are cool’.

    When asked if his brother is still part of his team in any capacity, Reekado said ‘at the moment, he’s not’.

    Temi has also not posted anything about Reekado Banks’ new song on his page which is quite unusual.

    Reekado Banks is now managed by Twenty20 media led by Davido’s former manager, Kamal Ajiboye.
