    Asake, Tobi Amusan, and Victor Osimhen are among those nominated for the 2023 edition of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA).

    The popular award celebrates a new class of innovators, philanthropists, activists, technocrats and creators promoting the shared mission of changing the African narrative.

    The 17th edition of the annual event is themed ‘Defying Odds, Inspiring Greatness’.

    The nominees for The Future Awards Africa were announced on Sunday by Tayo Faniran and Idia Aisien.

    This year’s award nominees span 25 categories, totaling 128 individuals, who have undergone three rigorous judging stages.

    Other notable names on the list are Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Broda Shaggi, Hilda Baci, TG Omori, Olumide Oworu, Layi Wasabi, Ayra Starr, and Bosun Tijani.

The conflict began when Seyi Vibez unveiled a sneak peek of his upcoming track ‘Amdallah’ on his social media platform. Shortly after, Zinoleesky took to the internet to tease his fans with a snippet of his song, hinting at the possibility of disrupting the music industry.

    In a video, Zinoleesky said,

    “Just waking up, what’s happening? My people, should I scatter everywhere? Should I post this snippet? Let me post this snippet.”

    Although Zinoleesky did not explicitly mention anyone’s name in the video, Seyi Vibez interpreted it as a veiled attack directed at him, given that he had just released his music snippet.

    While one might have expected the drama to end there, Zinoleesky recently took a swipe at a particular musician during an Instagram live session. He claimed that this musician’s song would never top the music charts, regardless of what he did.

    This remark infuriated Seyi Vibez, prompting him to take to his Instagram Stories to refer to Zinoleesky, who is signed to Marlian Music, as a “label slave.” Seyi Vibez further stated that he would not be surprised if Zinoleesky decided to sell his current house and purchase a new one solely because of him.

    “Now you fit say you wan sell your house go buy another one because of me!! Lmao!”

    He continued,

    As expected, Zinoleesky and Seyi Vibez unfollow each other on Instagram due to the beef. This move further escalated tensions between the two artists and their respective fan bases.

    The once-friendly relationship between Zinoleesky and Seyi Vibez has seemingly turned sour, as they have now unfollowed each other on Instagram, likely due to the ongoing beef between them.

    This could be a sign of the long-standing tension between the two artists finally reaching their boiling point.

    The much anticipated seventh edition of the Big Brother Naija will premiere on Saturday, July 23, 2022, with fast-rising singers like Asake and Victony preparing to headline the event.
